Ian - Definitely! You can do that. As long as the content is top quality you can justify charging that amount. I remember one “guru” used to produce a monthly lesson like that about 15 pages, but distribute it as printed document and charge 5 times as much.

I was originally going to go with a monthly premium newsletter for ELB, but decided to expand it and provide more value.

Do you consider a bi-monthly or monthly e-course to be the same as a membership site? I like the simplicity of sending an email of a pdf lesson once or twice a month and think that 2500-5000 words per lesson justifies a minimum of $19.95 per month. It also allows constant promotion rather than just a launch period and everyone gets to learn at their own pace.

I am working on such a course for my subscribers in our niche which is succeeding in the music business and I think it’s going to fly.

Obviously the core ingredient is our content, which is fantastic due to our years of experience.

I’m just wondering if you think I might be better off doing it as a membership site - but then again - I could do that as our next prodcut at, say $50 per month??
